What the specialist maths schools add up to when you put every filed set of accounts side by side — summed only where summing is honest.
What that sum is: the latest filed year (2023/24, 2024/25) for each school that files its own accounts. The 4 trust-consolidated schools and the 4 without filings are listed separately below — adding a whole multi-academy trust's income to a sum of individual schools would double-count thousands of unrelated pupils, so we don't.

Not yet filing
- Aston Maths School — Aston Maths School opened in September 2025 with an initial cohort of 75 students, growing toward a planned 200 by its third year. Its trust's only filing so far is a dormant-company return covering the period before opening — there's genuinely nothing to report yet.
- Durham Maths School — Durham Maths School has a provisional 2028 opening per the school's own site — confirmed to proceed in December 2025 after being caught in a wider Department for Education review of 44 free-school projects (paused October 2024). With no school open yet, there are no accounts to read; Providence Learning Partnership's own trust-wide filings are cited here for context only.
- Nottingham Maths School — The Department for Education confirmed the Nottingham project would proceed in December 2025, after the same review that paused Durham's. No opening date has been published yet, and East Midlands Education Trust's own annual report doesn't give the future maths school a stated income or spending line — there's nothing school-specific to read yet.
- The 1729 Maths School — The school opens for pupils in September 2026 and, as an internal project rather than a separate entity, will never file its own stand-alone accounts — its costs sit inside the Foundation's consolidated charity accounts. This page shows what's publicly committed instead of a figures table.
